A Galapagos cruise is a live-aboard adventure, where you will be eating and sleeping aboard a yacht with your fellow-passengers, guide and crew for the duration of the cruise. For the most part, you visit two sites per day. At night, you will sail to a different island and the next day you will explore this new island.
On a visit, you can enjoy a combo of short treks, wildlife spotting, and snorkeling together with an English-speaking naturalist guide. Some locations have beautiful beaches where you can swim and snorkel, often together with sea lions and other water animals. During all the visits, you are accompanied by your naturalist guide. There is no option to explore the islands on your own, except when your yacht stops at the small towns of Puerto Ayora, Puerto Villamil, and Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
